You complete a secure online application form.

This provides the information required to begin your PVG countersigning request.

All data is transmitted securely.

You complete identity verification through a secure third-party provider.

If verification cannot be completed through the automated process, we may request additional documents for manual review where appropriate.

Identity documents are not stored after processing.

Payment is completed securely via Stripe.

Service fee: £18.99 + VAT

This covers the countersigning service only. Disclosure Scotland fees are paid separately.

We complete the countersigning stage of your PVG application as an approved Disclosure Scotland umbrella body.

We retain only minimal administrative information required for service management and renewal reminders.

After countersigning, you must complete the remaining stages of your PVG application directly through Disclosure Scotland.

This requires a mygov.scot account.

Your application is then processed by Disclosure Scotland.

Once submitted, Disclosure Scotland handles your application and issues the final outcome.

Processing times vary depending on application type and external checks.
